JMN 6TH Seminar Greece – Crisis Management and Democracy in EU and Latin America: Lessons Learned
The 6th and last event of the JMN was held in Athens with an open seminar titled: “Crisis Management and Democracy in EU and Latin America: Lessons Learned” organized by ELIAMEP Crisis Observatory on Thursday, June 27th. Distinguished Greek and foreign experts participated in the conference addressing critical questions on the crisis management in the EU and the Latin America and their impact on the democracy.
Ninety-six (96) participants attended the event among which students, journalists, academics and foreign governments’ officials. The event was extensively covered by the Crisis Observatory’s and ELIAMEP’s social media as well as by Greek media (uploaded in 4 news sites: Το Βήμα (To Vima), News 24/7, CyprusNews.eu, iNewsgr.com). A press release was published afterwards focusing on the main highlights and conclusions of the discussions.
An internal workshop among the experts of the Network took place in ELIAMEP premises for preparing the edition of the book which will publish the main outputs of this three years research. This book will be published by Springer, on paper as well as in a digital version and will be accessible through this website as well as on the Partners’ websites . The title will be “Financial Crisis Management and Democracy: The Cases of EU and Latin America”
